Rusyn pop music was celebrated with its first festival in Slovakia, in Svidnik on 17 November. There were many performers and a number of prizes were given out in various categories. The star of the show, however, was the band ČUMzBAGERA, fronted by Jozef Keselica. They performed songs such as "Stara baba," and "Rusnak," about the Rusyn emigration.
The event was organized by Rusyn'ska obroda in Slovakia, the Svidnik branch of Rusyn'ska obroda, the Podduklianske Education Center, the Town Council of Svidnik, and Jozef Keselica and ČUMzBAGERA.
There are some photos from the event on Holosy.
